The 7 Chakras and Their Connection to Pleasure
A brief intro
Pleasure is the most sought after feeling on the planet. It is entirely subjective; no two people experience it the same way. A pleasurable event can not be duplicated. Yet it can be experienced, in some form, over and over again.
The human body is designed to feel. Bundles of nerves and miles of synapses make it possible to perceive unimaginable sensations. Pleasure and pain, hot and cold, comfort, and dis-ease can all be felt and recognized, sometimes simultaneously.
Pleasure goes beyond physical sensation. There are mental and emotional components. It is both sensual and spiritual. Tangible and abstract. Conscious and unconscious.
How is it possible to feel beyond the physicality of the human body? Chakras.
The seven major chakras span the length of the human spine and radiate out into the perimeter of personal space. These energy centers are where the body and consciousness meet.
Pleasure is experienced in physical form through the vehicle of the body, while the chakras allow pleasure to transcend the limits of time and space.
The more in tune you are with your body, the more ethereal the experience of pleasure becomes.
I believe that pleasure flows throughout each of the seven chakras.
Each chakra has a corresponding element and physical sense. And while the senses allow us to navigate the terrain of the planet, they also manufacture pleasure in 4D.
As humans, survival is our default programming, which is why we are so intimate with pain. But I believe that we should be just as intimate with pleasure. That’s why it’s essential to build a rapport with your body, not only on a physical level but on an energetic level as well.
Familiarizing yourself with the chakras system will help you to commune with your energetic body and experience more pleasure.
